Screaming, empathy, adrenaline on stage. This is the core of the Italian band DEFLAG. The band was formed in 2019 and consists of Daniele (lead vocals) Lorenzo (guitars, backing vocals), Picci (bass, backing vocals), and Fabio (drums). The music is direct, powerful and reflective. Their first EP ‘Let Us All Unite!’ was released in 2021 and received very positive reviews, leading the band to open for Həd P.E. in Milan a year later. DEFLAG released their second EP ‘Of Scars And Sparrows’ in 2024. The songs reflect the spirit of the band, which alternates between moments of pure headbanging and melodic intervals that curb the rage. In 2026 the band won the Wacken Metal Battle - Italy, and will be the Italian representative at the W:O:A 2026.
