Sereen. is the musical project of singer-songwriter Serena Mancusi. Her artistic journey took shape in London in 2015, where, through her experience at the iconic Roundhouse in Camden, she began developing her identity by studying vocals, songwriting, and performing her first live shows across jam sessions and gigs—even sharing the stage with artists from the London scene such as Grace Savage at the Roundhouse Rising Festival. In 2017, alongside producer Denis Gajetic, she recorded her debut EP, Basically, released in 2019. The record blends alternative rock, electronica, indie pop, and Northern European influences, preceded by the lead single New Morning Sun.Following an extensive period of training at the RMA in Naples and live performances at venues like Duel Club and Teatro Posillipo, she released her debut album, Suitcases, in December 2024, produced by Joe Nocerino (Elyza Jeph, Il Nero). The album alternates 90s-inspired rock, folk, and electronica, weaving together Italian and English lyrics to tell the story of over a decade of personal and artistic growth. Her full-band live debut took place in March 2025 at the Auditorium Novecento in Naples. Since then, the project has continued to expand through new live experiences, including a Live Session for Game Over, concerts across Rome, Naples, Salerno, and Spain (with dates in Zaragoza and, most recently, Barcelona), as well as an appearance on the Spaghetti Unplugged circuit at Monk in Rome.Currently, Sereen. is working on her upcoming EP while developing a highly versatile live project capable of adapting to diverse settings: from intimate acoustic/unplugged sets to electro-acoustic setups and full-band performances. Her new productions, self-arranged and produced, explore a balance between alternative rock, electronica, and intimate songwriting—evoking the intensity of Alice in Chains with a strong focus on storytelling. Voice and songwriting remain the core of the project: two instruments through which Sereen. builds a direct, authentic, and deeply personal dialogue with her audience.
