🇬🇧 - The idea behind the alternative metal project BLIND LOTUS came to life in 2022, following the meeting of two metal bands from Grosseto with very different sounds: Let Them Fall, an epic metalcore band, and Athrox, a heavy/thrash metal band. The members of both groups, each with extensive live and studio experience in the alternative music scene, decided to pursue their own highly personal interpretation of modern metal. The result was a set of songs that effectively blend the diverse musical backgrounds of the individual members. “Sacrilege” released in November 2024, is Blind Lotus’ debut single. The track combines aggressive, groove-driven riffing with melodic and catchy sections, all supported by a production that incorporates both electronic and symphonic elements. In early 2025, the band followed up with their second single “Antiheroes” which further highlights their transatlantic influences and anticipates a series of upcoming releases throughout the year.
